I am looking to get a site built that will function pretty similar to www.givereal.com and www.buyyourfriendadrink.com. Although we will be sending out something else, and not drinks to friends, it will have many of the same components that these have.

The site will use a similar way to sign in, and verify you are who you say you are. We will only use paypal as the way that they can buy their friends this item. We will need a way in admin for the places that want to be included can create an account and sign up to be listed in the directory of places that we offer the item from.

I would like to be able to send the item, through email, and if possible through sms, but I am not sure about the fees that are associated with sms to know if I am able to.

The project is pretty straight forward and once I explain to you the product we will use, the design will be pretty easy to come up with as well. I kind of like givereal design better then buyyourfriendadrink.
