About Me :	Harry George Pellegrin was born in New York City. Early musical training was undertaken with orchestral bassist Lawrence Silvestro. He began his studies with the noted guitarist Albert Valdés-Blain in 1974 and completed his Bachelor’s degree at The Mannes College of Music in Manhattan, studying with Valdes-Blain and Eliot Fisk. Between 1976 and 1989, Mr. Pellegrin performed and taught extensively in the New York City Metro area as well as performing on many commercial soundtrack sessions until a near-fatal car accident left him temporarily unable to play guitar. Healing took almost six years but it wasn’t until 1998 that he was able to consider re-establishing himself on his instrument. By 2006, Mr. Pellegrin was once again playing recitals. Harry Pellegrin has recently completed a teaching method for the guitar entitled Classic Guitar Method. He teaches guitar, records, and is the author of a series of mystery novels. His two CD’s of original compositions have met with great critical praise. Mr. Pellegrin and his wife and daughters reside in the Albany/Schenectady area.
