About Me :	I am looking to network with like mind people in southern california. I do not want to work for another incompetent company. I rather eventually be my own boss. So I am looking for others that feel the same as I do. That are sick of the rat race and want something more satisfying and rewarding. So I am looking for others to invest with, maybe start a business and or research together for business/investment ventures. I have looked and tried a few things on the internet, but there are so many scams out there. Here is a little about myself: I am in my mid 30's and have held at least 1 job since I was 14 years of age. I invest in the stock market, belong to a small real estate venture in Arizona. I held a supervisor position from a major global manufacturing company for 8 years. However I recently find myself unemployed which is probably the best thing that could have happened to me. I have left the rat race to reflect on what I really want from life instead of being a slave to the daily grind. I had over 60 direct reports, worked over 50 hours weekly and yes made decent money, but was very unsatisfied. Like the challenges of most big companies, they would forgot that their greatest asset was their employees. The executives would try and say all the right things, but did not know how to execute. They did not know how to properly train or manage their employees, and set goals, but they would always ask the employees to work smarter or harder. The executives made all the big decisions without understanding the basic workings of the job/business (because they were too busy holding unproductive meetings). I can not tell you how many supervisors/managers managed from their desks and were totally incompetent and clueless and wondered why their employees caused them so many headaches. Obvious this work culture would cause loss of revenue and wasted money for the company (which use to drive me crazy). My philisophy was that you need to have a plan, set goals, and most importantly, communicate both of these to the employees (especially since they are the ones that are doing all the work). I would also request feedback from the employees daily, to help keep our goals on track. It was all about RESPECT. Okay, I am off my tangent now. So if you are interested in and want to network and collaborate, let's do it.
