I started my first online community in 1998.
It was a Yahoo! Club. Eventually we made it thru the
elimination/migration to Yahoo! Groups.
Today, I moderate several groups with over 50,000
members collectively and am an active member of Yahoo!
Answers, 360 and Mash.
Plus a board or 2 on MSN, and a couple usenet groups on
Google. Not to forget to mention just about every Social
Network, spun on this crazy web, in an effort to KNOW what
i'm talking about. *grin*
I have spent nearly a decade watching the way netizens
interact, react, communicate, degrade and alienate. Not
necessarily in that order.
I have, and continue to deal with, all walks of life.
Good, bad or indifferent, there seems to be a common
denominator: In our quest of privacy and online security
(and anonymity,) EVERYONE needs their point to be heard.
Or more importantly, validated.
Regardless of how "virtual" this WorldWideWeb is, we are
emotionally affected by the things we see, and hear.

I like, to listen. And will do alot. Will do my fair
share of talking too.
