I don't usually like to discuss it as everyone has there own opinion and the discussion usually just ends up in an arguement. Plus politics is a dirty game that no one wins. Huh oh I said my opinion now I'm going to get argued with. lol

It is my hope that everyone old enough to vote, will vote in this election. That "everyone will stand up and voice their opinion. The economy in this country is going to hell quickly and that is being done by the oil companies and poliboobans that are "Raping" this country. We will never be what we can be in this country until all stand up and speak for what they believe in.Ladies included...Bryan

i think subjects like religion and politics in particular are hard topics for most people because they can be confrontational issues...which men are more likely to caveman into...without fear of consequence...

the problem with these sorts of dicussions comes when people personalize and feel attacked when their views are not always agreed upon which can be interpreted as a fundamental shortcoming or weakness...

i do know some stong willed/minded woman that are not afraid to dive in with both feet and are very versed in current events. a successful debate always presents more than one side and if effective gives both sides more to think about when the discussion is over...

debate should never be approached with a divide and conquer mentality

They were seriously debating in one or two polls and being "RANDY's" and having fun in the others my TX COWGIRL HAT GOES OFF 2 THEM!!!!  me in a red cowgirl hat hahaha

I was pleasantly surprised and very encouraged with the way the discussions here have evolved to not getting a BLOCK or CLOCK!!!Photobucket

I don't mind talking politics or "hot topics", but I come here to relax and goof off. Besides I don't debate, becuase I feel how I feel, and I won't change my mind.... I figure most adults feel the same... so why waste my breath!

Hunnybear, I do also come here to laugh and have fun!! especially when "MY LIFE" is stressful, but I have had my opinion changed by discussions here(which I didn't think could or would happen). and appreciate ppl sharing of themselves which is so precious to me, not to change me but to learn to appreciate them being who they are and what has made them...who they are by what they have experienced!

Allllright I understand the need for women to be in politics as their voice is important too. The reason I have such disdain for it really is because when I did vote and try to make a difference I remember a bill against the ins. co. ripping us off like they do. Of course it was voted in by a landslide as we all hate that they get to rob us. Because they had already made so much money off of us they managed to tie it up in court forever while they keep raping our pockets. That and the election where Bush was, in my opinion, bought a presidency by his Dad and his cronies. Sickening to me. It is like trying to fill the well of life with the truth of water but your bucket doesn't have a bottom...ok I'm not very good with analogies but you know what I mean. It seems hopeless to me to fight the crooks of the world. And well behaved women make history but naughty women have more fun. Snickers.

That's true Star. You should never stop learning from others. I think with the big ones... abortion, religion, gas prices!, global warming... we already know the facts and have formed our opinions.

Now if everyone could share their opinion as politely as you just did... I would listen much better.
