You could buy the rum! Yes I would take my Son and Dogs no question! and not forget the purse!....I used to live in tornado alley and now we are in Hurricane season in TX, so am the type to always stay prepared & ready!

Everything my family needs for a couple of days is already in the basement where we would retreat. That is also where I keep important docs and financail papers, etc. I would just make sure they all got to the basement and brought the dog.

I said pictures and photo albums as we lost a lot of pictures as well as our other belongings in a fire many years ago. You realize down the road that the pics are the only thing that can never be replaced. I picture in my mind my oldest daughters curly head and cute little dresses I had her in and took so many pics of her now all gone. Luckily I have her still but sure wish I had the pics too.

that is so true traci........my oldest son was such an awesome child, but God needed his angel back......i'm so grateful that i have wonderful pictures and videos of him before we lost him to the kidney disorder.......

I can't imagine losing my son... 6 months ago I lost my sister so I know how hard it can be and all.. but god has him now.. and he will always be in your heart.. no matter what... MY FATHER IN LAW WAS IN THOSE APARTMENTS THAT WAS ON 38TH AND MITTHOEFFER... HE LOST EVERYTHING.. IT TORE THE RIGHT-SIDE OF MY HOUSE OFF..

IT WAS REALLY BAD I KNOW SO MANY PEOPLE THAT TORNADO HAS TORE THERE HOUSES UP... WOW.. BUT GOD IS GOOD NO ONE HAD ANY REALLY HARM DONE TO THEM IN IT.. WE GOT GOD TO THANK FOR THAT ONE..
