Got back from vacation and finished a week back at work playing catch up.  Had a fantabulous time away from home (like I wouldn't or something!?!?!?).  Dancing, clubbing and a baseball game!  Gosh I love going to baseball games....

Well the summer is just starting up around here...kind of gloomy but I know it will get better soon.  Hope everyone has some great plans this summer.  Drop me a note and say hello!

The Pool Boy

Rode up a mountain yesterday...yes, it was 10 miles and we never stopped climbing.  My legs are like gumby....enjoy the views of Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez and me and Chris!

Just posted some new pics in SPANDEX! from my 50 mile bike ride.  Solvang is where that movie Sideways was filmed...I rode ride by the Hitching Post!  That movie is a riot! 

My main computer took a dump tonight, so I will be up late fixing it :(

Just completed the Solvang Half century out here in California..weather was beautiful!   Just perfect...riding my bike in the wine country...everyone should see this place...it is very beautiful (like all my Vois friends!).  Well after passing the Hitching Post...(you know from that movie Sideways?)...it was 3 hours of sweat and muscle...just trying to get going behind all those tight bottoms in spandex!  I should have some photos soon...I need a massage and a long nap.  Even the Pool Boy is tired!  I was able to finish 50 miles in just about 3 hours....my longest ride ever...and a great time I might add.

Well I am now gearing up for the summer...it will be here before I know it.  Should be a good year, my back is finally feeling better and I have been able to get in a few 40+ mile bike rides so I will loose all the winter flubber before long :)  This pool boy plans to be in the best shape of his life this year!!!!

Just moved to a new office today and now have a view of the outside world!  I had my first job review and it looks like I am going a decent job with this company.  I really like my line of work and don't have much to complain about these days.  My comute is a little longer, but oh well. 

I am still struggling with an injury which keeps me from being as active as I would like, but all in all everything is going great...just waiting for summer to roll around :)

So the baseball season ended and the Red Sox are the new champions...Ok so I can now get back my routine. My back is finally getting better, which means all my winter activities should be on my agenda once again....

So I will be going back to spin classes since it will be getting dark again earlier (riding your bike in this town after dark is suicide). Need to loose a good 10 pounds that I picked up watching baseball @ the Nugget in Summerland.

Hoping to start up my swing dance lessons this week...I need some motivation on that one.

Just got back from my vacation in St. Louis, MO.  I had a wonderful time with a beautiful woman.  Saw the Arch (didn't get stuck) and a baseball game....it was very fun to meet all the folks in Missouri.  All I can think about is my next vacation!

Does that say enough?  First of all a very good friend of mine hurt herself badly.  So today kind of started out on a bad note...she is ok, but had me worried (wish I could be there to kiss her owie and make it feel better).

Then on the way home from work, I got rear ended in my brand new car!  Did I ever mention that I hate driving!  So that just put me in a poor mood and now I am all couped up at home since I don't want to drive around....ok I will stop ranting!  lol
