                                 Wisdom

My soul has the wisdom of the agesI know I’ve been here before.

I feel I am here before my time.
The world is not ready for me.

I know I’ll be here again when the world can finally comprehend that the peace in my mind is the way things should be.

My soul has the wisdom of the ages and I pity the person who can’t see this because,
I’m not what they think, I should be.

                My Black Children

My black children what has happened to you, why have you turned your back on me?

The thing you seek most,
you will still find in me.

I am not in the pipe you smoke.

I am not in the needles that you poke.

I am not in the blunts that make you float.

I am not in every girl or boy you meet.

I am not in the money that you think you need.

I am in the trees when the leaves are full and green.

I am in the sunshine on a bright summers day.

I am in the air when the snowflakes fall from the sky.

I am your King your almighty God, come back unto me, and you will see that I am the only one who can give you what you need

                    What I Think Heaven Is

The passion in your eyes, the softness of your skin, this is what I think heaven is.

The softness of your touch, the smile on your face, this is what I think heaven is.

The strength in your arms when you hold me tight, to let me know everything is alright, this is whatI think heaven is.

The gentleness of your caress, when you love me through the night, this is what I think heaven is.

The brightness of the sun when it shines on your dark brown skin,when you hold your child in your arms, this, is what I think heaven is.

Black Man Black Woman

I am a black man strong and fast.
I am a black man father to all.
Come unto me and learn what
I am suppose to be.

I am a black woman strong and tall.
I am a black woman mother of all.
Come unto me and learn to survive it all.

The black man, father of the sun and the earth.
The black woman, mother of the water and the moon.
Each made to intertwine and interchange with the other, to come together and grow.

To keep the harmony within each other and let their minds soar with the infinite wisdom and knowledge to know right from wrong.

Black man, black woman both strong and tall the father and mother of us all.

Black man, black woman made in our Saviors image and given the strength to survive to be here today, right now to tell you all strive, strive, strive.
