I am an Author /Novelist. I am over 40 years old and I finally decided what I wanted to be went I grow up. A novelist. I have a Passion for writing stories of all kind. I wrote my first book at 14 y/o. It was never published, but I remember it. Now that my life is settled from raising children and a husband, I have time to actually think a complete thought without interruptions.  I advise anyone who have a dream to follow it. Do not let fear step in and change your mind. Do not let your family/friends talk you out of it if it is truly something positive in life you want to do with your life. Seek Divine counsel first and wait on your answer. It will come. Just be ready to be receptive.

For those of you who want to write, you must get away from the television, gather your thoughts in a quiet place, jot down your thoughts and read them back. When you think your masterpiece is finish, have someone proof read it for you before submitting your manuscript. You must discipline yourself to set some time aside to write, if you cannot do this, then it is not a Passion but a pass time that may never come to surface. Never let your Passions in life go to the grave with you. We need good writers, inventors, self made business people, You can do it. Failure is not an option. Fear is not an option. Can't is not an option either.  Anything in life that is worth sacrificing for is worth achieving. 

I am working on writing my children's stories and I am having a blast. It will be for ages 5-12. When I wrote my first book, Dumb Things People Say, I had a blast writing, researching and finally figured out that people say dumb things everyday, you just have to listen closely for it.  For example, You're in a store where everything cost only dollar, but somebody will ask, How much does this cost?  See what I mean?  My other book, At the Bus Stop is a novel about everyday people who catches the bus and starts talking about their life while waiting for the bus to arrive.  Check out my books BarneandNoble.com or Amazon.com, Booksamillion.com.
