thinking with my lonely heart and loving with my brain
the reason i'm still loving you the reason i'm insane
as my heart does ponder as my brain makes room
the best we gave each other was the best that we could do

my heart will think its over as my brain will love in blue
the reason faulty timing was the reason lost us two
my heart ran on pure fantasy my brain was passions play
the reason got us caught up in as reason lost it's way

my heart has learned new meaning my brain shared from above
and as we part forever we know that we have loved
to risk a thought by truest heart to risk the brains love too
i walk on to the setting sun forever loving you

my heart will say goodbye now my brain will bid ado
in peaceful moments when I'm alone my heart will think of you
my heart now knows the reason my brain pierced by the clues
the reason that we say goodbye the reason we both knew
the reason of your heart the reason of my brain
the reason that allowed us to find reason once again
