Hi my name is Marilyn and I love the lord most people dont go to Church because most ministers today  are hypocrits it,s all about the dollar bill and the college degree if you are called by God then God gives you the wisdom and knowledge to preach his word.If we would go back,we did not have a fancy building to worship in and it,s nothing wrong with having a nice santuary but it should not be a showcase,with surround sound and several different light,s changing while you are singing in the choir,and chandeliers costing a $1000.00 dollars a piece yes we pay tithes to up keep the church for repairs thats needed and not for spending just for show.
