Black folks judge each other by tangible things such as cars, homes and cold cash.
An honorable black man with no money is an honorable black man with few friends
(an excerpt from my manuscript Struggling to Overcome the Willie Lynch in Me)
You hired that friend of color to do your roof… no wonder the thang still leaks! Hum…

We have a serious problem abusing one another. It is a continuous cycle that we must deal with if we expect to achieve our goals as individuals. When we abuse our brother or our sister we abuse ourselves. For It will surely return to haunt us when we least expect it or when we are totally unprepared for it.

I can dig this. I have a friend that has come into some money and all that he seem to rely on is just that. It's all about how his money can talk for him. His money can this, his money can that.  There are always people around him, but I always sit back and wonder to myself, if he didn't have anything how many would still be there. Not long ago I found out that he had cancer. Along with myself, he only had two other visitors. Now that is saying something.

What you are saying is true, but let's keep it real. Steve Harvey said it best, "When we are blessed, we look it." Most God fearing folks are blessed with material things. Alot of God fearing folks are fearless and achieve more knowing that God wants us to have all the finer things on this earth. None of the diciples were poor. I'm not saying that everyone shoud be rich, but what I am saying most blessed people are not broke. Broke meaning pennyless. We as people should definitely stop abusing each other, but we should also stop settling for less.- Rain

The truth is the some of the most vile and evil people on the planet are loaded with cash. Does that mean that God loves them more...I think not. Put another way 97 percent of all the wealth in America is held by 3 percent of the people. I ask you does that sound like it was God's intended distribution of wealth. Again, I think not.
