Questions

Days get longer. Is this just because summer is approaching or is there more meaning to it? With the change of seasons and the perpetual warm air hanging like an unseen cloud come the possibilities of starting over or of making new choices of the heart. Does this happen to everyone or just to those like me that feel the void ever growing where romance and love used to reside? Was it always this way or has the loss of physical connection and yearning for simple basic needs left unfulfilled contributed to this inner torment? Do these feeling come to me because of an inner flaw or are they the natural progression or cause and affect of having lost an emotional connection at home? As I ponder the answers to these questions I am flooded not with answers but with more questions which further expose my weakness. I am not the sort of person to assign blame but having searched real hard for answers I can only conclude that the problem lies within me and blankets me with blame. Can the use of this knowledge ease my pain or have I sunken to low in the abyss that I have created for myself? Again, more questions. Always questions that like the coming of summer make the days ahead seem longer yet open the possibilities of change and rebirth, but can also dampen and weather the tattered fabric that has become my life. As I look out the windows of my eyes I see a cloud overhead that is sure to bring rain. The question now becomes what will the raindrops feed and allow to grow into my life? Always more questions.
