I have decided that I do not do well with long distance relationships. I need more. How can you share your life with someone so far away? How can this type of relationship work? Unless one of you decides to move closer to the other...there is no possible way.

It has nothing to do with "trust" or "honesty". It has to do with meeting each other's emotional and intellectual needs, on a daily basis, not to mention physical needs that will come later.  

After running into a few that expect me to pay their way to get to U.S. and a few that say they are in love  but, I will never see them.....I want to meet someone reasonable close. I also think that expecting honesty is too much to ask in this day and age.  Would rather be alone than lied to.

Am I being too harsh? Any comments?
