And  they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31). 
As we enter into the new year we need to take a different approach when it comes to our health and fitness and taking care of our bodies in 2008, We need to stop, wait, think, and evaluate, what we are putting into our system from this day forward and make better choices when it comes to what we are about to eat.  If you have to eat your lunch or dinner from a fast food place or restaraunt, then we should stop, wait, and  think about the choice we are getting ready to make, such as baked or grilled  versus fried,  a vegetable versus  fries, whole wheat versus white,  water verus soda or sweet tea, a piece of fruit versus a piece of hot apple pie with ice cream on top, and most of all we need to exercise!
Genuine commitment is difficult but 20 minutes of exercise a day, that's easy.  It's as easy as waking up and just thinking about it.
Simple ways you can get some exercise in from the time you wake up, is to pull your stomach muscles in and hold it in all day long without holding your breath, you can even start right now while reading this article," just pull it in and hold", while driving to work, "just hold", while standing in the grocery line, "just hold", even while you are eating, just hold" as it help you take in less food.  Exercise is simple and if you take the stairs instead of the elevator, park at least 50 steps from the entrance into the store, you can find your body becoming tone, fit, and having more energy without having to invest a dime.
Remember: we are the body of christ and every christian ought to bring glory to god in and through their body.  (I corintians 6: 19-20)
