I'm really hoping Barack Obama wins the Democratic Nomination and then the Presidency and it hasn't even been hard for me to make the choice between candidates as some would expect with a potential for a couple Firsts for the United States; first woman and first black and ii guess im supposed to vote for Hillary since im white and a woman but to me she's way to seasoned a politician and i for one can't stand politicians one bit, they make me sick to see them or hear them which is why i gag when hearing a speech by Hillary.

John Edwards is way to pretty and rich for me and he seems way to religified for my taste, (i like the separation of church and government) let's keep it that way is what i say.

Barack Obama may be a liar like all politicians but he's relatively unknown and so when i hear him i don't gag or puke in my throat and want to turn the tv channel (yet) I mean im not like most and i don't believe everything he says but it sounds good and coming from someone that's not like the other candidates that's quite refreshing and i believe why he's beating up Hillary at every turn.

And i don't put any stock into him not having experience, i mean how can he do worse than what america has had the last 7 years with the Bush administration? Im sure he'll be surrounded by just as many political advisors as all the other presidents so i think there'll be nothing more to worry about than the same old gripes that people always have after they put some lieing fool in the White House and then wonder about their decision.

I would bet on Barack Obama at Bodog and win (i just may) big cause there's nothing now that Hillary can do to win the nomination they now are hoping Obama does something to screw up himself or that the press digs up something damaging and believe they are working hard on that as well. He's to charismatic and Hillary is Polarizing and a bit scary (sorry girls).

Barack should put a good hurt on Mcain as well since the republicans can't even come close to matching funds or people turnouts like the democrates it will be a record beating by Obama and the Democratic Party this year.

wanna bet?

Holly

Holly, Of course I like your line of thinking..and he's not a liar, I really believe that in his heart he wants to do the right thing and make this a better world. He can't do it by himself, but he can lead us and show us how we can all do our part and overcome greed, hatred, selfishness, and make it a better world for our kids and grand kids in the years to come...the way I see it, we have nothing to lose at this point!

I hope your right and i can't wait to see if he gets the nomination but i for one am not like the rest of the voters that usually vote (middle aged, god fearing etc..) i understand that ALL politicians will say what they need to
say to get elected sadly that's the way the system is set up but i try and pay attention and differentiate what i believe is just lipservice and truth, it can be hard because you can get swept up in what they say at times but i truly like Barack and really hope he gets the nod over Hillary for sure since she clearly is not "Change" no matter what she says her family is a machine and at the moment the Obama's are not so i tend to know what is coming from her camp is designed solely to get her and her family back in the White House so there's nothing she can say to me to make me a believer in her, (she's not her husband) Bill would be a much different matter. So for now im going to keep supporting Barack and Pray that he can keep at least most of his campaign promises if elected because America needs new hope, new dreams and direction, new friends etc...

time to stop being hated in the rest of the world and get back to being a compassionate and fair nation.

I agree in principal with a lot you have said here. The worry I have is that the democrats are still to divided and must come together soon or MCcain will come out on top. This country needs real change now. And as you said, Obama's lack of experience (at least of being a politician) makes him most attractive. And yes, he will be able to get wise people around him to help where he has less experience. Nice post. Bravo from an American friend...
