Oi!

I Southern born and raised. Through out my life it has been instilled in me to be kind and hospitable to all individuals both male and female. I would say from many experiences that I am not a person that you would think of as nice by my appearance. That goes to show that you can't judge a book by its cover.

Before the influx of residents to Atlanta due to the Olympics, there was a thing called southern hospitality. It consisted of actions such as saying hello to someone while looking them in the eye, saying please and thank you, holding the door for both a man or a woman, letting a person over in traffic, letting a lady go ahead of you in line.

Trying to show a bit of common decency to any that cross our path.

What happened?

Man I miss the times when someone would say thank you for holding a door and not look at you like they expected you to rob them.

For all the people that have moved here and don't practice the art of Southern Hospitality (because it is an Art), go back from whence you came or follow suit and lets all be nice to each other.
