Earlier movie stuck in Court Today supreme court of India give permission to release it.

The Supreme Court today dismissed a peboobion seeking a stay on the screening of actor-director Kamal Hassan’s magnum opus Dasavatharam, slated for release tomorrow. Hindu outfits were furious at the film makers for showing the clashes between two Hindu sects in the 12th century.
The Rs 70 crore project, said to be the costliest Tamil film, will smash two records, on the very day of release, as no Tamil film had been released in 21 theatres in Chennai alone, for over 135 shows a day.
Setting the record for the number of theatres released as well as the number of shows per day, the film is expected to be watched by about three lakh people by the end of the first week itself. The earlier record was when superstar Rajnikanth's Sivaji (the Boss) was released in 16 theatres in Chennai.
The movie will also be released in many theatres in Andhra Pradesh and the Hindi version, is to be released, after two weeks.
The story line which appears to be an elaboration of Ulagum Sutrum Vaaliban, a smashing success of matinee idol M G Ramachandran, directed and produced by him, allows the talented Kamal Haasan to play ten roles including a Vaishnavite devotee Nambi of 12th century, which created resentment among Hindu outfits, who filed several peboobions in many courts including the Madras High Court, praying for a stay.
Though Kamal Haasan, plays the role of a Vaishnavite devotee, the film has brought to light the historical conflict between Vaishnavites and Saivaites in the 12th century. This had enraged the Hindu outfits in Tamil Nadu, who are being accused of trying to destroy the varying theologies and rituals followed by the people of Tamil Nadu and impose the Brahminical religion as the only form of Hindu worship.

Sylvester Stallone to appear in Bollywood movie for first time

Mumbai, June 14 (PTI) Bollywood filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala has signed Sylvester Stallone for his next flick "Kambakkht Ishq" in which the Hollywood icon will do a cameo as himself opposite Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor.
When contacted, Sajid said he had been persuing the "Rambo" and "Rocky" star for over two months and he has finally given his consent to make a brief appearance in the film.

"Sylvester Stallone will be portraying himself in the movie. For the first time in the history of Indian cinema, the shooting will take place at the Universal Studio (one of Hollywood's biggest and most well-known studios)", he added.

The film also stars popular Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor. "Akshay plays a Hollywood stuntman in the film. The desi action hero will be seen with the international action icon," he said.

The expected budget of the movie, tipped to be one of the costliest films ever made in Bollywood, is Rs 90 crore, said the filmmaker.

It is for the first time that a Hollywood star of such stature has agreed to act in an Indian film.

Sajid said, "We have a certain vision for our production house Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Since Kambakkth Ishq is based in Hollywood .. It made perfect sense to appoint casting agents in Hollywood and cast mainstream Hollywood stars. Kambakkth Ishq is one of our most ambitious ventures to date and we didn't want to leave any stone unturned." Prashant Shah, line producer of Kambakkht Ishq in LA and also a major Hollywood presence says, "We are also looking at other Hollywood names to join the cast of Kambakkht Ishq. We shall be making a formal announcement very soon on that front as well."

Bollywood's heartthrob Hrithik Roshan has distanced himself from the war of blogs, which have Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan as their main warriors, saying that he has no plans to start his own blog.

What Hrithik roshan says

I am not interested in blogging and don't want to comment or join the war of blogs. Sorry, no blogging for me," says Hrithik.

"I am enjoying my fatherhood these days and very soon will be busy with my next project 'Kites' to be shot outdoor extensively. I am not giving any serious thought to blogging given my busy schedule. As for the future, I can't say," he says.

Hrithik, who reportedly for the very first time in his career plays a "raunchy" role in his dad's next "Kites" says, it's too early to talk about the movie as shooting is yet to start.

"Shooting will start from the next month and it's too early to talk about it at this stage," says the actor, who made his film debut with the blockbuster 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai' (2000).

"This movie will take a year or so to get completed and I will have more to talk about it after its completion," he says.

The movie, starring US-based Spanish model Barbara Mori and Kangana Ranaut in the lead is about the romantic engagements between an Indian boy and a Latino girl who do not speak each other's language, in which Hrithik plays a man who keeps oscillating between love and lust.

The movie to be shot mostly in New Mexico, Las Vegas and Los Angeles will be directed by Anurag Basu with music by Rajesh Roshan.

Speculations are also rife in the film industry that distribution company Eros International has bought the world wide rights of the movie for an unprecedented Rs 1 billion. Hrithik, who was the brand ambassador of "Mumbai Indians" team of the recently concluded cash rich 'Indian Premier League' (IPL) was totally amazed by the huge success of the tournament and says it was great to be associated with the game with such an unbelievable amount of entertainment involved in it.

"It was a great tournament with both cricket and entertainment involved to such a great extent. The huge success of IPL has everything to say in itself and it was great to be associated with the game," says Hrithik, who also featured in the hit video of the franchise "Duniya Hila Denge Hum".
